The free mini-scan
One page, checked properly, and a score you can argue with.
A free first look at the front page of your website, measured against the same published checklist our paid assessments use. No cost, no obligation, and nothing you have to understand in advance.
What you get
A score, the three worst things, and every other failure named.
We load the publicly visible front page of your website — that page and no other — and run the 24 checks that a scan can establish on its own. You get back an overall score out of 100, a score for each of the four categories, the three findings costing you the most points written out in full, and every other check that failed named so you can look it up on the published standard yourself.
It is one page long. It is not the paid assessment, and it does not pretend to be: a mini-scan cannot tell you about pages it never loaded, and it says so on its own cover.
What it does not do
It does not crawl your site, follow your links, submit your forms, attempt a login, or probe for vulnerabilities. It is not a certification, not a legal opinion, and not a statement about whether your website meets the requirements of any law — we are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice.
Three of the checks on our list can only be answered by a person looking at your site. A free scan does not include that review; a paid assessment does, and says who signed it.
How to ask for one
Use the contact formand choose “Free mini-scan”. We cannot tell from a form who owns a website, so a submission is a request and nothing more: a founder decides whether to run the check and what to send back. If we have scanned your domain in the last 30 days we will send you what we already have rather than loading your page again.
If you would rather we never scanned your site at all, that is a single email, and it is permanent. The scanning policy explains exactly how, and every rule our scanner follows, in full.
Why it is free.
Because a business owner should be able to find out whether their website is costing them customers without paying anybody to tell them. Some of the people who read one will want the full assessment, and that is the business. Most will not, and the scan is still true.
