Effective September 3, 2026
Uditus provides technical assessments, not legal advice or compliance certifications. A score reflects the stated scope, checklist version, and date of review. It cannot guarantee legal compliance, accessibility for every person, or immunity from a complaint or claim.
1. Acceptance
By using this website or submitting a request, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit information. You must be able to form a binding agreement and use the site for a lawful purpose.
2. Public website materials
The site explains Uditus services, methodology, pricing, mission, and general educational information. Public materials may be updated and do not create a professional, legal, fiduciary, insurance, or client relationship. Submitting a contact form or mini-scan request does not obligate either party to begin paid work.
3. Assessments, not certifications
Uditus evaluates a website against a published technical checklist informed by WCAG and website security and hygiene practices. Software-assisted checks detect only part of accessibility conformance. Expert review reduces but cannot eliminate missed issues, changing conditions, or differences in user experience.
Uditus does not determine your legal obligations, certify ADA or WCAG compliance, predict litigation, promise an outcome, or provide legal advice. Questions about legal duties should be directed to qualified counsel.
4. Free mini-scans
A mini-scan is a limited review of a publicly available home page. Uditus may accept, decline, defer, or limit a request. A mini-scan is directional and is not a full accessibility audit, security test, penetration test, or client engagement.
If you control a domain and want scanning to stop, submit an opt-out through the contact page. Uditus will add the domain to its suppression process after reasonable verification.
5. Authorization for deeper work
You may not ask Uditus to scan, access, or test a website, account, system, or data you do not control or have permission to test. Multi-page crawling, interaction testing, authenticated review, and deeper security checks require a signed agreement defining authorization and scope.
6. Paid services
Paid assessments, rebuilds, hosting, and care plans require a separate services agreement or order form. That agreement controls scope, deliverables, payment, timeline, change requests, client responsibilities, acceptance, intellectual property, confidentiality, warranties, limitations, and termination. If that agreement conflicts with these public terms, the signed agreement controls.
7. Published pricing
Public prices describe standard offerings and may change prospectively. A rebuild price is finalized only in an accepted written scope. Taxes, third-party software, domains, content production, unusual integrations, and work outside the standard scope may be excluded unless stated in writing.
8. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact, ownership, and authorization information.
- Do not submit sensitive personal information through the public form.
- Do not misuse scan results to harass, threaten, or misrepresent another party.
- Do not interfere with the site, bypass controls, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Review findings and obtain professional advice when the decision requires it.
9. Scan library and client materials
The scan library may publish a business name, public URL, scan metadata, directional score, and category scores from a public-page review. A business representative may use the ownership request form to ask a question, request a fresh mini-scan, or request removal. Client reports, screenshots, contact information, and raw evidence remain private unless publication is approved.
10. Intellectual property
Uditus owns or licenses the website design, methodology expression, scoring presentation, templates, software, and public materials, except for third-party names, websites, marks, and content. You may use a report you purchased for your internal business purposes and may provide it to your developers and professional advisers, subject to the signed agreement.
11. Third-party services and links
The site may link to standards bodies, research, tools, or other services Uditus does not control. Uditus is not responsible for their availability, content, security, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement unless expressly stated.
12. Website disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this public website and its general materials are provided “as is” and “as available.” Uditus disclaims implied warranties for the public site, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Specific warranties for paid work, if any, appear only in the signed services agreement.
13. Limitation for public-site use
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uditus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the public website or reliance on general materials. Limitations for paid services are governed by the signed agreement. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so this section applies only to the extent permitted.
14. Governing law
These public terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
15. Changes
Uditus may update these terms as the public site and services evolve. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms can be submitted through the Uditus contact form.
